Problem in Deploying Analysis service projects using SQL server Business Intelligence Developmen

after creating Analysis service projects using SQL server Business Intelligence Development Studio when the project is deployed it gives following error.........

Error 1 The project could not be deployed to the 'Solversa-201\SQL2005' server because of the following connectivity problems : A connection cannot be made. Ensure that the server is running. To verify or update the name of the target server, right-click on the project in Solution Explorer, select Project Properties, click on the Deployment tab, and then enter the name of the server. 0 0

connection to the server problem doesnt come at the time of creating data base,at that time it is accepting server name and displaying the database list...............

even test connection is also sucessful...................

problem is only at the time of deployment of project

Please make sure that the instance name in the Deployment tab refers to your Analysis Services instance and not your SQL Server 2005 database server instance.

Problem in browsing cube and dimension data

I have SQL Server 2000 installed on Windows 2000 Advance Server. On same machine I installed MS Analysis servise. By default Analysis service have FoodMart2000 database which have some cubes and dimension. When I right click on cube and browse the data, it open the data browsing window and following message display

"Unspecified error unable to browes the data"

So please solve my problem and what can i doKnown problem, see 873440
This is typically caused by either not having SP4 installed or installing Office after SQL Server.

Problem connecting to SSAS

I have installed the September CTP and am having problems connecting to Analysis Services. The error message I'm getting is "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it (System)". The log-in is set identically to what's set in Reporting Services, SQL Server 2005, etc. Has anybody else come across this error?

I have exactly the same problem and can't find what the problem it. I can't connect using SQL Server Management Studio at all. I tried turning off my virus scan and firewalls but nothing helped.|||I have the same problem.|||only i try to connect to RTM version of the Reporting Services.

anybody found a solution yet? i see a lot of posts with this problem.
